Smile Education is seeking a motivated and caring Year 3 Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and inclusive primary school in the West Bromwich area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual passionate about education to support students and contribute to their academic and personal growth.
Role Overview
As a Year 3 Teaching Assistant, you will:
  • Provide support to the class teacher in delivering creative and effective lessons.
  • Work with individual pupils and small groups to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Assist in preparing lesson materials and maintaining an organized classroom environment.
  • Support pupils’ emotional, social, and academic development.
  • Ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
  • Have previous experience working with children in a primary school setting (preferably KS2).
  • Hold a relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Teaching Assistance or equivalent).
  • Be enthusiastic, patient, and committed to supporting children’s learning and development.
  • Have strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • Be dedicated to safeguarding and the welfare of all children.
