Do you have a passion for enriching the education of young people?

An opportunity has arisen for you to immediately join the dedicated team at a school based in Harborne as a Teaching Assistant.
You will be joining a school who believe in developing confident, successful children with a natural love of learning, through an aspirational and inspirational curriculum where everybody is valued.

You will be able to start in the role immediately on a full-time basis where you will be paid £70 - £85 per day, dependent upon experience.
 
What will you be doing?
  • Providing motivation and guidance to help pupils overcome obstacles in their learning.
  • Offering 1:1 support.
  • Coach students on a wide range of academic and pastoral topics.
  • Working in small groups with children who need additional support.
 
About you:
  • You will have knowledge on the school curriculum and learning stages and hold an NVQ level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning. Beneficial traits for this role include patience, drive, and approachability.
  • Ideally you will have an in-date DBS registered to the update service; if you do not hold this, we can arrange for you at a cost of £44, which is refundable once you have completed ten days in your new role.
