We are seeking a full-time 1:1 TA to support a pupil transitioning from a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) into a mainstream school in Worcester.
The Role:
- Provide social, emotional, and academic support to aid a smooth transition.
- Work closely with the pupil, helping them adjust to routines, build confidence, and engage in learning.
- Support in managing behaviour positively and promoting inclusion within the classroom.
- Adapt activities to suit the pupil’s needs and encourage their progress.
- Experience working with children with SEMH needs or from alternative provisions.
- Resilient, proactive, and adaptable – able to engage an active pupil.
- A calm, nurturing approach to behaviour management.
- Ability to build strong relationships and encourage independence.
