Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Support Worker/Teaching Assistant to join our friendly client primary school team in the heart of Hindley Green Village.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide 1:1 support to children with diverse learning needs in a resource area, outside of the traditional classroom environment.
  • Implement effective behavioral management strategies to support pupils in developing their social and emotional skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers to create personalized learning experiences that cater to individual needs.
  • Foster a positive, nurturing atmosphere where every child feels valued and understood.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs, with a strong background in behavioral management.
  • A solid understanding of various SEN needs and strategies to support learning and behavior.
  • Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
  • A relevant qualification in education or social care is preferred, but not essential.
