This charming Stockport SEN school are searching for caring, compassionate and proactive Learning Support Assistant candidates to join their thriving and cohesive support team!
Learning Support Assistant:
In this Learning Support Assistant role you will find yourself supporting and working with students, ranging from nursery to college ages, on a 1:1, group and class basis!
The students who attend this SEN school have a range of additional needs ranging from neurological and cognitive requirements, to behaviour and SEMH. Each day will be different, but as well as those challenging days, this is an immensely rewarding Learning Support Assistant position.

Learning Support Assistant – The Role:
- Work across a thriving SEN school
- Support students with an ASC / autism diagnosis
- Students ranging from EYFS – KS5
- Carry out 1:1 and group intervention sessions
- Collaborate with experienced teachers and other LSAs
Learning Support Assistant – Qualifications required:
- TA qualification or degree level of education
- Education / childcare experience is required
- Previous SEN / ASC experience is desirable
- Professional manner and can work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
