Smile Education is seeking an enthusiastic and nurturing EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic and friendly primary school in the Smethwick area. This long-term role is an excellent opportunity for an individual passionate about early childhood education to make a lasting impact on young learners.
Role Overview
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate activities.
Work closely with children to support their social, emotional, and educational development.
Assist with classroom preparation, organization, and resource management.
Observe and assess children’s progress, providing feedback to the teacher and parents when needed.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment that promotes curiosity and a love for learning.

What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will:

Have experience working with children in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Hold a relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Childcare, EYFS, or Teaching Assistance).
Be patient, caring, and passionate about supporting young children’s development.
Have excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
Be dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils.
