Are you passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs and fostering an inclusive learning environment?

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Worcester, in partnership with Smile Education, is seeking a skilled and committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join their friendly and supportive team.

This fixed-term role is tied to the duration of the pupil’s time at the school.

About the Role:
You will work closely with the class teacher to support teaching, learning, and associated activities for a specific child.
Responsibilities include:
  • Assisting with planning, delivering, and evaluating learning activities.
  • Supporting whole classes, small groups, and individual pupils to enhance their learning and development.
  • Promoting self-reliance, self-esteem, and emotional well-being in pupils.
  • Observing and reporting on pupil performance and progress to improve learning outcomes.
  • Implementing individual learning programmes under the guidance of the class teacher and SENDCo.
This role will be part-time, working 21 hours per week, with the schedule as follows:
  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: Full day (8:45 am – 3:15 pm)
  • Wednesday & Friday: Mornings only (8:45 am – 11:45 am)
