Smile Education is recruiting on behalf of a purpose-built academy that supports children aged 7–19 with specialized facilities and a holistic curriculum tailored to meet their unique needs.
About the Academy This state-of-the-art school opened in September 2019 and is designed to accommodate up to 100 students. It features:

• A sensory room, therapy spaces, and an immersive classroom.
• A soft playroom, recording studio, and photography suite.
• A café where students can showcase their creations and develop vocational skills.

With a strong commitment to blended therapy within the classroom and a focus on community and family engagement, this academy provides an inclusive, nurturing environment where students thrive.
The Role As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will:

• Deliver specialized, child-centered speech and language therapy to students aged 7–19 with autism and complex communication needs.
• Assess, diagnose, and create personalized intervention plans.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support students’ academic, social, and emotional development.
• Contribute to the academy’s ethos of fostering lifelong learning and preparing students for adult life.

About You To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A recognized professional Speech and Language Therapy degree qualification.
• Registration with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Proven experience supporting children with autism and severe speech, language, and communication needs.
• Knowledge of statutory legislation related to health, safety, and child protection.
