Smile Education is proud to be working in partnership with Endeavour Multi Academy Trust to recruit several SEND Teaching Assistants for a Primary school in Tamworth.

This specialist setting supports children aged 2 to 11 across three sites, catering to a range of needs, including:

SLCN – Speech, Language, and Communication
ASD – Autistic Spectrum Disorder
MSI – Multi-Sensory Impairment
PD – Physical Disability
MLD – Moderate Learning Difficulty
SLD – Severe Learning Difficulty
PMLD – Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulty

The Role:
  • Supporting students with a variety of additional needs in a busy and dynamic environment.
  • Working closely with teachers and staff to create an inclusive and engaging learning experience.
  • Assisting with personal care, communication, and sensory learning when required.
  • Being proactive and willing to get involved from day one.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Recent experience working with students with SEND.
  • A minimum Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification (or a similar relevant qualification).
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative in a fast-paced setting.
  • A team player who is supportive and adaptable.
  • Reliable and committed to working 8:30 AM – 3:20 PM.
