SEN Teaching Assistant:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students who have additional needs such as Autism, ADHD, SEMH, or Speech and Language difficulties. Your role will involve providing tailored support on a 1:1 or small group basis to ensure their learning and emotional well-being are prioritized.
It would be ideal if you have prior experience in supporting students with SEN or a background in education.

SEN Teaching Assistant – The Role:

Provide individual and small group support for students with SEN.
Implement and adapt Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and EHCPs.
Work collaboratively with teachers and the SEND team.
Support academic, social, and emotional development.
Record progress, observations, and maintain detailed reports.

SEN Teaching Assistant – Qualifications and Skills:

Experience working with SEN students (desirable).
Knowledge of Autism, ADHD, SEMH, or other SEN.
Calm, patient, and proactive manner.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A current, enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
