Salary: £85.00 - £110.00 Per Day

Role Overview: As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the learning and personal care needs of a young boy with special educational needs. This position requires a male candidate due to specific personal care requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to the student during lessons and activities.
  • Assist with personal care tasks as needed, ensuring the student’s dignity and comfort.
  • Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.
  • Work closely with teachers and other staff to implement individual learning plans.
  • Help the student develop social skills and independence.
  • Communicate effectively with the student, parents, and educational staff.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs (desirable).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a caring attitude.
  • Ability to provide personal care with sensitivity and respect.
  • Patience and resilience in challenging situations.
  • Relevant qualifications in childcare or special education (preferred).
  • A valid DBS check.
