Smile Education is seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to support schools in Coventry, Rugby, Nuneaton, and Stratford-upon-Avon. This exciting multi-destination role is perfect for those passionate about making a difference in the lives of SEN students. Positions are available for both full-time and part-time roles, starting in February 2025.
As an SEN TA, you will play a vital role in maintaining positive and inclusive classroom environments across multiple schools. Your adaptability and commitment to supporting the diverse needs and abilities of students will be key to your success in this role. You’ll work alongside fun, dedicated, and professional teams who will support you in reaching your potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Distributing and facilitating pre-planned lessons from class teachers.
- Ensuring high levels of classroom behavior management.
- Supporting students who need additional help to engage in lessons.
- Reporting any safeguarding concerns and ensuring a safe, inclusive classroom environment.
- A bachelor’s degree in education, a related field, or relevant experience.
- Previous experience working with SEN children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for motivating and supporting students.
