Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one support for students in classroom settings and during extracurricular activities.
• Assist in developing tailored learning plans to meet individual student needs.
• Implement strategies to help students manage challenging behaviours.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to contribute to a positive learning environment.
• Participate in training and continuous professional development (CPD) opportunities.

The Successful Candidate Will:

• Hold a minimum Level 2 qualification in Childcare or Education.
• Have recent experience working in a secondary education environment.
• Demonstrate confidence in supporting students with challenging behaviour.
• Possess a sound understanding of SEND and related strategies.
• Be flexible and adaptable in their teaching and support approaches.
• Work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
• Commit to ongoing training and professional development.
• Hold an enhanced DBS check or be willing to apply for one.
• Provide references covering the last two years of employment.
