SEN Teaching Assistant – Ibstock, Leicestershire

Smile Education are currently recruiting on behalf of a primary school near Ibstock who require additional support in their SEND department. The school are keen to meet Teaching Assistants/LSAs to work with one of their SEN/SEMH pupils in Key Stage 1 on a long-term basis. These positions will start ASAP and will run for at least two months.

SEN Teaching Assistant
Primary school close to Ibstock, Leicestershire
£80-100 per day
Key Stage 1 pupil
Long-term position
NVQ Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or a degree in Psychology or Special Educational Needs would be ideal but not essential.

My client primary school are keen to meet caring, committed and enthusiastic teaching assistants who are interested in supporting pupils with special needs. This community primary school are driven by providing an inclusive education to all pupils.

The school would love to meet any Teaching Assistants that have practical and theoretical knowledge of SEND, especially those with an interest in Autism. They are looking for the recruited teaching assistant to work on a full-time basis in order that they establish a good working bond with the pupil they support.

If you’re a psychology graduate looking to gain a few years’ experience en-route to becoming an Educational Psychologist this could be the perfect school for you.
