thriving Humanities department within a school that values high-quality teaching, collaboration and staff wellbeing.
The successful candidate will become part of a
supportive, close-knit team committed to delivering engaging and ambitious Humanities lessons that inspire curiosity, critical thinking and a strong understanding of the world.
This role is available on a
temp-to-perm basis, with the opportunity to secure a
permanent position and be
paid to scale following a successful probation period. A
TLR may be available for candidates with the experience or ambition to take on additional responsibility.

The role:
- Teaching Humanities across Key Stages 3 and 4 (e.g. History, Geography and/or RE depending on specialism)
- Planning and delivering engaging, inclusive and high-quality learning experiences
- Inspiring students to think critically, ask questions and engage with the wider world
- Maintaining high expectations of learning, progress and behaviour
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and support department development
- Using technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning
