Position Overview:

Smile Education is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Year 3 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Wednesbury. This role offers the opportunity to inspire and educate students in Key Stage 2, contributing to their academic and personal development.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in accordance with the KS2 curriculum, fostering a love of learning among students.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued, respected, and motivated to succeed.
  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and implement targeted interventions to support individual learning needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support the holistic development of each student, maintaining open and effective communication.
  • Uphold high standards of behaviour and academic achievement, instilling a strong sense of responsibility and aspiration in students.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Previous experience teaching in Key Stage 2, with a strong understanding of the curriculum and assessment requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
  • Flexibility, resilience, and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges in the classroom.
