Smile Education is working alongside a number of supportive and high-achieving primary schools across Denton, recruiting enthusiastic Primary Teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) for immediate and September 2026 starts.
Whether you're an experienced teacher seeking your next challenge or an ECT ready to begin your teaching career, we have opportunities to suit your goals.
The Role
As a Primary Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1, or KS2.
- Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
- Adapt teaching to support pupils of all abilities.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and parents to support pupil success.
- Inspire children to achieve their full academic and personal potential.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
- At least 6 months' UK classroom experience (placements accepted for ECTs).
- Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- A proactive, enthusiastic, and child-centred approach to teaching.
- Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Smile Education.
- Ability to provide two years of references, including at least one relating to experience working with children.
- Right to work in the UK.
