Do you have a passion for nurturing young learners during their critical early years? A Staffordshire primary school, part of an established MAT, is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher to join our supportive and vibrant team. This flexible role allows you to work either full-time or part-time, depending on your preference.

About the Role:As an EYFS Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a stimulating, safe, and engaging learning environment for children in their early years. You will support their development across all areas of learning, ensuring each child reaches their full potential through creative and play-based learning opportunities. Working as part of a wider school and Trust community, you will have access to continuous professional development and the chance to make a real impact in children’s formative education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the EYFS framework, tailored to meet the individual needs of each child.
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that supports all aspects of children’s learning and development.
  • Observe, assess, and track children’s progress, providing regular feedback to parents and colleagues.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to create a holistic approach to learning, contributing to planning and school-wide initiatives.
  • Encourage positive social interactions, promoting independence and confidence in children’s early years.
  • Engage parents and carers in their child’s learning journey, fostering strong home-school partnerships.
  • Ensure safeguarding and health and safety policies are always adhered to.
We are looking for someone who:
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has experience in EYFS or early primary settings.
  • Is passionate about early years education and has a deep understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
  • Has strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
  • Demonstrates creativity in planning engaging and varied learning experiences that support both academic and social development.
  • Is committed to creating a positive, inclusive environment that celebrates each child’s uniqueness.
  • Shows a proactive attitude towards professional development and collaboration with colleagues.
  • Is dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
