It is essential that you have previous experience working within a school setting as well as completing general repairs and building maintenance work.
Duties:
- General maintenance of school grounds and facilities
- Open and close the school and maintain security throughout
- Complete basic repairs and arrange contractors for major repairs.
- Supervise cleaning staff.
- General porterage duties.
- Key holder responsibilities
- Inspect, monitor and record building cleaning records.
- Work closely with the school Business Manager regards appropriate repairs and maintenance
- Carry out non-specialist building maintenance works i.e. plumbing and decorating.
- Record management and keeping • Supervise, manage, and train team members.
Application Requirements:
- Previous experience working within a school environment.
- Maintenance experience.
- Eligibility to work within the UK.
- Enhanced DBS disclosure
- Professional reference checks
