Location: Leicestershire (Near Coalville)
Salary: £113 - £120 per day (dependent on experience) £21,934 - £23,010 Per Year (Actual Salary)

Smile Education Leicestershire are seeking a reliable and motivated Attendance Officer to join our team at a secondary school in Leicestershire. This full-time, term-time only role will involve supporting the attendance officer and performing general administrative duties. The successful candidate will have recent experience in school administration, ideally within an attendance officer role or supporting one over the past 2-3 years.

School Interviews and informal chats are immediately available so please do not hesitate and get in contact today. The role is permanent but will start initially on a supply basis until at least the February half term with a view to becoming permanent soon after for the right candidate. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing student attendance records
  • Follow up on unexplained absences and liaise with parents
  • Provide general administrative support to the school office
  • Maintain accurate attendance data in line with school policies
Essential Requirements:
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Recent experience in UK school administration
  • Previous experience as an Attendance Officer or supporting the role in the last 2-3 years
  • Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS)
