Are you a hands-on, practical individual with a knack for maintenance and problem-solving? Do you have experience in general upkeep, repairs, and grounds maintenance? We're looking for a reliable and skilled Facilities Manager to join our team and take charge of ensuring our building and surroundings are in tip-top shape!

Role Overview:
As a Facilities Manager, you'll be the go-to person for all things related to building maintenance, minor repairs, and ensuring the grounds are well-maintained and safe. You'll play a key role in making sure everything runs smoothly – from fixing leaky taps to maintaining the outdoor areas – and we'll depend on your expertise to keep everything in working order.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Grounds Maintenance: Keep the outdoor spaces pristine – mow the lawns, maintain flower beds, and ensure the paths and outdoor areas are safe and tidy.
  • Handyman Tasks: Put your skills to use with general repairs, including fixing doors, furniture, and any other equipment that needs attention.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure the entire site meets health and safety standards and report any risks or hazards.
  • Emergency Repairs: Be ready to respond quickly to unexpected issues, ensuring minimal disruption to daily activities.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven Experience: You should have solid experience in facilities management, caretaking, labouring or as a handyman, with a strong practical ability.
  • Maintenance Know-How: A good understanding of various maintenance tasks – from minor repairs to grounds upkeep.
  • Health & Safety Awareness: Familiarity with health and safety protocols to keep the environment safe for everyone.
  • A Can-Do Attitude: You’ll need to be proactive, problem-solving, and hands-on, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Reliability: We’re looking for someone we can count on to manage the property efficiently and maintain a high standard of care.
