Unqualified Teacher

Smile Education are looking for a Unqualified Teachers to work  in a variety of secondary schools across the Stoke. Working days are completely flexible to your schedule, as long as you are able to cover a full school day. We have part-time and full-time positions available.

Sucessful candidates would require relevant experience working with children, such as in schools, mentoring, tutoring, sports coaching, summer camp leadership, youth work, or similar roles .

Responsibilities of an Unqualified Teacher: 
  • Deliver pre-planned lessons effectively, however you are not expected to have subject knowledge!
  • Arrive on time to school and lessons
  • Manage the classroom and keep the children engaged by creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Leave feedback for the classroom teacher

Requirements for this role :
  • Experience working with children
  • Strong communication skills to engage with students and staff
  • A passion for the development of young people
  • Level 3 of Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (preferred)
  • Ability to manage classroom behaviour
