Sports Coach: 
Smile Education is collaborating with a prominent secondary school near Tamworth who are welcoming a talented sports coach to join their team, beginning February 2025. If you’re ready to inspire young minds and make a positive impact in the classroom, we encourage you to get in touch.

As a sports coach, the role will consist of delivering pre planned PE or general subject lessons to students in line with the curriculum. All of the materials will be left for you to hand out, your job will be to keep students focused on the work and ensure exceptional levels of classroom behavioural management. You will focus on creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that helps student engagement and critical thinking. This could be covering lessons from PE, English to Maths. You will join a staff body who are fun, dedicated, hardworking and professional, who will work together to support you in reaching your potential.

The successful candidate must have:
  • A bachelor’s degree in any subject or a related field
  • Proficiency in the secondary curriculum and effective instructional techniques.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for teaching and motivating students to excel.
