Start 2025 covering science lessons across biology, chemistry and physics as a Science Cover Teacher.
Science Cover Teacher:
In this highly rewarding Science Cover Teacher role, you will be contributing to the science department by ensuring lessons are covered across KS3 – KS4. The academic progress of students is paramount so you will need to support some students on a 1:1 or group basis.
This Science Cover Teacher opportunity is ideal for anyone who has a true passion for science and wants to either build up their teaching / classroom experience or is looking to contribute to school life without the commitment of planning lessons.
Science Cover Teacher – The Role:
- Cover engaging science lessons across KS3 – KS4
- Support the academic progress across biology, chemistry & physics
- Contribute to a cohesive & thriving science department
- Aid students on a 1:1, group and class basis
- Science related degree
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong behaviour management
- Prior education experience – teaching, tutoring or support
- Flexibility to cover other subjects, if required by the school
