PE Teacher & Cover Supervisor – The Role:
- Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons.
- Supervise classes across various subjects during teacher absences.
- Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support students’ learning and well-being.
- Provide feedback and reports on student progress when covering lessons.
PE Teacher & Cover Supervisor – Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification (PE specialism preferred).
- Experience teaching PE and/or working as a cover supervisor in secondary schools.
- Calm, adaptable, and proactive approach.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- A current, enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
