Teacher of English:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join on our our schools in Telford. This role is due to start in September and would be a one year contract, four days a week. The ideal candidate will inspire and educate students in the English language, literature, and writing skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet academic standards
- Teach grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking skills
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and school administration
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills
Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in English or Education; Master's degree is a plus
- Teaching certification (QTS)
- Strong knowledge of English language, literature, and composition
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Patience and understanding when working with students of diverse backgrounds
- Proficiency in educational technology tools for virtual or in-person instruction
