Smile Education Northwest are thrilled to be working alongside a thriving secondary school located in North Manchester. We are currently seeking an Arts Technician to join the team from May 2024.
We are currently seeking an Arts Technician to join this vibrant school from May 2024 until the end of the academic year. The successful applicant will be supporting across the drama and music departments, providing help with producing both drama pieces and music performances. Applicants with a background in theatre and performance are encouraged to apply.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a welcoming team as part of a vibrant and creative department. The school is located in north Manchester within proximity to Tyldesley, Atherton and Farnworth. The expected salary range for this role is between £85- 110 per day, depending on experience.
What to expect from applicants?
We would like applicants to have a background in theatre of performance. Applicants should feel comfortable providing help and support on lighting and staging in addition to support the music department with musical productions.

To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:
  • Experienced in performance or production- this can be as a performer yourself or through supporting others such as stage direction etc
  • Confident in working with students of a secondary school age range, including managing behaviour within drama studio or music rooms
  • Available to start from May half-term until the end of the academic year
