Are you ready to make a positive impact in a secondary school setting? Smile Education is collaborating with a vibrant secondary school in Solihull to find a dedicated cover supervisor to join their team, starting September 2024. If you’re passionate about supporting students and maintaining an engaging classroom environment, we encourage you to get in touch.

As a Secondary School Cover Supervisor, your responsibilities will include maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment for students. You will facilitate the learning process and ensure students’ engagement in the absence of the regular teacher. Your adaptability to support diverse needs and abilities of students is critical. You will be working alongside a staff body who are fun, dedicated, hardworking and professional, who will work together to support you in reaching your potential.

The successful candidate must have:
  • A bachelor’s degree in education, a related field, or relevant experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting students and motivating them to excel.
Your Role:
  • Covering lesson plans left in absence of the teacher
  • Ensuring behaviour in the classroom is at a good standard
  • Helping students to stay on task and motivated
  • Ensuring a safe and engaging classroom environment
