Our head office is based in Birmingham city centre and has been for over 10 years now. As such we’ve really grown to love the place and all it has to offer. These are the 10 reasons why…
Easy to reach
One of the biggest benefits of working in Birmingham city centre is that it’s so easy to get to. There’s lots of parking (although it can be a little expensive!) and great public transport links. Our team can commute to work by car, train, bus or metro and commute in from Great Barr, Tamworth, Rowley Regis and even Stafford.
Let’s get physical
Pros? Our office has a gym. Cons? It means you no longer have an excuse not to go to the gym. Plus we also offer those who hit the gym during their lunch get 15 mins extra break.
Never far from a bar
There is nothing better than having a cheeky cocktail or glass of wine on a Friday and having an office in Birmingham means that you are never too far away from a bar. In fact, Jekyll and Hyde is right opposite our office and there are tons of cool bars just off Colmore Row which is a 2-minute walk away!
Say goodbye to bad hair days
Did rain ruin your hair? Feeling sweaty from the gym? Have an after-work event? Don’t worry our changing rooms have GHD hair straighteners and hairdryers in them. They also have showers too if you feel like freshening up.
Lunch is never boring
Not only do we have a fab little cafe downstairs, we’re also surrounded by lots of great places to eat. Better still there is tons of choice from Greggs and McDonalds to the famous sandwich shop, Monty’s and exotic eateries like Kuula Poke. Whether you are looking for a healthy lunch or a treat, you’ll easily find something to satisfy your appetite here in Birmingham.
Pop to the shops
Our office is just a 10-minute walk from the Bullring so you can shop until you drop (or lunch is over) and beat those weekend crowds. Treat yourself to a new outfit or return those shoes with minimal fuss and relative ease.
Treat yourself
There aren’t many offices which can boast that they offer beauty treatments but ours can. So, if you feel like getting your nails done or a massage to melt the stresses of the week away you just take the lift 3 floors down. And gents there is no need to feel left out, once a week we are visited by a barber so you can get a quick trim in your lunch break too.
Food for thought
Thanks to the cafe downstairs breakfast and lunch are covered. From heathy porridge to a sausage sandwich, soup to wraps - you’ll never go hungry again. Better still, the cafe is licensed. Shame that drinking at work is frowned upon though!
Above barre
The Studio offers a range of classes from yoga to barre during lunch and after work giving you the opportunity to improve your wellbeing and strength without ever leaving the building.
Always something to do
Throughout the year, the city plays host to a number of events from food festivals to Christmas markets so there is always something to do that’s not too far away. Our team have also ventured into nearby Digbeth for a spot of Ghetto golf and some grub at Digbeth Dining Club too.
