5 Reasons to Love Teaching

As with any job, being a teacher certainly comes with its challenges. For the most part, the good parts outweigh the bad. With Valentine’s coming up, love is in the air and so there’s no better time than the present to focus on the positives of being a teacher; all the reasons why you love doing what you do.

A chance to make a difference

The impact that a teacher has is something that isn’t talked about enough. Not only are you passing on your knowledge to the next and upcoming generations, but you are also helping guide them towards their future. Your words, and ways of teaching may not seem like a lot at times, but in the long run you really can have such an immense impact on a young person’s life.

Every day is a school day

As a teacher you never stop learning. Whether that's the latest slang, a new teaching model or a new topic.

Every day is different

The life of a teacher may seem mundane to some, but little do they know is that every day you are being presented with a different range of young people, every class you teach will never be the same as the last, your ways of teaching are constantly developing as you explore new and exciting ways of getting your teachings across.

You are always being challenged

Teachers are constantly having to morph and adapt to situations at hand, the challenges that are presented to teachers on a daily basis is never-ending, but it's within these challenges that create stimulation and forward-thinking, you may have a teaching degree, but you never will stop learning. Who doesn’t love a challenge?

Teaching something you love

After all the hard work and dedication that goes into becoming a teacher, you finally get the chance to teach others a subject that you are passionate about.

Of course, there are many, many more reasons to love teaching than just the five that we’ve mentioned. However, if we took the time to list them all we’d still be writing this blog now!

If you love teaching but are looking for a change, then we can help. Send your CV our way and we’ll support you in finding the right role for you. We offer both supply roles and permanent roles giving you plenty of options and choices.
