Smile Education, a teaching and school support recruitment agency based in the Midlands, has announced its latest partnership with Mowbray Education Trust.
The agency has been chosen by the Trust as its managed service provider for short or long-term teaching, teaching assistant, leadership and school support roles across its 8 primary and secondary schools in the East Midlands.
The new Master Vendor partnership will extend Smile Education’s support across each academy within the Trust, giving them access to a pool of excellent teachers and support staff.
The partnership is designed to provide a raft of support for the Trust’s day-to-day and longer-term staffing needs under the Crown Commercial Service’s Lot 2 Framework.
Not only this, but Smile Education will also be supporting the Trust with further activities such as marketing assistance, open day support and mock interview sessions.
Katy Rees, Managing Director at Smile Education, shared: “We’re thrilled about our latest partnership, and delighted that it is with Mowbray Education Trust. I’m incredibly proud of our team and can’t wait to see the results of the work we’ll be doing with the Trust. We’re dedicated to keeping child safety a top priority, and will be extending this same level of commitment to APSCo Compliance Standards across each and every role we fill.”
Matt Collins, Director of Education Partnerships at Smile Education, said: “We’re very proud to be working with Mowbray Education Trust. As an expanding and progressive Academy Trust we are delighted that they have chosen Smile as their long-term recruitment partner under the Master Vendor Framework. We’re really looking forward to providing them with outstanding staff after the Easter break.”
The partnership is set to begin in April 2024.
Anna Butler, Executive Lead for People and Development at Mowbray Education Trust, said: “This is a really exciting opportunity to bring in more talented staff to work with our students and to ensure they have the best possible experience in the classroom. We’re delighted to be working with Smile Education under the Crown Commercial Framework as a genuine and long-term recruitment partner.”
Created in 2014, Mowbray Education Trust is a community of 8 primary and secondary schools based in the East Midlands.
The Trust's ambition is that all schools under it will be recognised as performing at an outstanding level by their local community and other external agencies. The Trust has built its school improvement model around this ambition.
